SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business” is a nonprofit association dedicated to educating entrepreneurs and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. The organization is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
The agency is headquartered in Herndon, VA and Washington, DC and has 389 chapters throughout the United States and its territories, with 10,500 volunteers nationwide. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors. The organization was founded in 1964.
Around 8 million small businesses around the United States have benefitted from the services that the volunteers provide.
The agency offers free and confidential advice to small businesses: face-to-face counseling, online counseling, online workshops and more. SCORE’s goal is to help you live your dream. All of the volunteers are successful entrepreneurs and executives who love business and want to share their knowledge with you, so you can succeed too.
